Ranking Criteria for Documents in Web Services by Using Ranking Algorithms

Today, the World Wide Web is the popular and interactive medium to access various types of information in different fields. The web contains huge amount of information and most of the user access internet for information retrieval. But, most of the time user gets irrelevant results on search engine after firing any query. So, for better accuracy and relevant results according to user requirements, ranking of documents is important. There are various algorithms to rank the documents based on parameters of accuracy, input and output, relevancy and techniques. In this paper, the new methodology has been proposed for ranking the documents in web services which is based on citations and author rank score.
